Over the weekend of Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May 2008, St Peter's FC staged their second Festival of football.
The inaugral event in 2007 was held specifically for players under the age of 10. However, such was the demand, it was decided to extend the festival by one day and include an under 12 competition.
The weather was once again kind to us and the event catered for just under 500 players over the three days.
There were three great days of football with some very tired legs on the younger players
